We are also self employed and we’ve been told the same as you.Meh123 said:
I really really hope so, but I think with our main income being SE it’s trapped us in the huge queue. I know they’re managing to get the straight forward ‘employed’ cases through pretty quick though! We were told there are 2 queue. Simple and complex, SE and any furlough etc are in the complex one and need additional checks etc.....however I desperately want to be completely wrong hahaknocknock1 said:I think you will be done within a few weeks. I've found the intermediary to not be accurate for those who have everything in order and just waiting for the UW. I was told end of Nov, mine happened in 2 weeks from joining UW queue.0 -
From what I hear for SE is that before you hit the queue you get a lot of questions unless you MB has supplied all the info and more upfront. When you hit the front of the queue their shouldn’t be many more questions really if all answered earlier.0

We were expecting questions before going into the Queue but had zero! Our app literally went with only my payslips and his SA302s, they didn’t even request bank statements etc (MB has everything already and has our Oct statements now too). The whole process boggles me brain, I’m just hoping it doesn’t drag past November as naturally the building industry takes a little dip in the winter months, but balances back out in summer. Apparently Santander don’t automatically take bank statements and actively ask MB not to send them unless they are requested. Fek knows! Mind blown. All we want is a causal quarter of a million, no idea what all the fuss is about hahahamowgliisaG said:From what I hear for SE is that before you hit the queue you get a lot of questions unless you MB has supplied all the info and more upfront. Yeah ours has oct statement too but said they haven’t even asked for it, I mean business one. There were no questions originally as everything was supplied and now doesn’t think there should be much once at front of queue. Incase there is all info is with the MB. Bizzare how it’s so diff, I wonder if the quality of the MB and working relationship with bank has anything to do with it.Meh123 said:

We where told the same they don’t automatically ask it take bank statements. So far we’ve supplied 2 year books, SA03 form, letter from the accountant with next years projections, our personal and business bank statements. But fully expecting them to ask for October bank statements next week.Meh123 said:

I’ll be fuming if we’re held up again once it gets to UW, if they suddenly request a load of docs that could have been added to the application at the first assessment stage when the application was set up.I’m already irritated by the UW queue barely moving since Thursday, all the other queues are catching up but the UW one is just getting behind even further than it was!!0

I totally get it, and really feel for u, but surely u will get an offer this month!Meh123 said:I’ll be fuming if we’re held up again once it gets to UW, if they suddenly request a load of docs that could have been added to the application at the first assessment stage when the application was set up.I’m already irritated by the UW queue barely moving since Thursday, all the other queues are catching up but the UW one is just getting behind even further than it was!!0 -
God I hope so, my nerves are shot at this stage! They’re currently on 2nd Oct for UW queue and we joined it on the 26th...but it didn’t budge over the weekend so not sure UW are working weekends anymore?! Send wine hahaha85c said:I totally get it, and really feel for u, but surely u will get an offer this month!0 -
What date does your broker think it’ll get seen?Meh123 said:

Originally he said the 23rd November as they were consistently 28 days behind, but they’re now 32 days behind so I’m assuming it’ll be longer unless they start to catch up and assuming they’re still working weekends too.mowgliisaG said:What date does your broker think it’ll get seen?0
