Thank you! It was very quick! Just shows sometimes you have to trust the process. I'm sure you will get the news you are hoping for next week! Update we got mortgage offer in post dated 18th, obviously decided against a physical valuation after all
Took 15 days total0 -
Just had an email from my broker saying that my mortgage has been agreed subject to valuation and that the paperwork will be sent out soon. Broker understands that they’ve already done a desktop valuation. Application was submitted on 11th August.0

Sounds like they are cranking out the easier ones. Damn me and my bloody self employment 🙄Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1

Yeah I’m full time employed on a permanent contract with a 25% deposit so it was straightforward financially. Hope you get a decision soon!0

I earn less than a quarter of my husband, we are looking at a 75%LTV and are looking to borrrow 20k less than was offered. Just endless quizzing about the 9k per year I earn. Beginning to wish we had found a cheaper house so we could have just done it in his wages.hannah2283 said:Yeah I’m full time employed on a permanent contract with a 25% deposit so it was straightforward financially. Remembering why we haven't moved in 11 years 😂 if this all goes through successfully won't be planning another move for 25/30 years!hannah2283 said:Fingers crossed for you!Debt free Feb 2021 🎉0 -
Ha, I’ve been thinking “oh it’s so much easier to move when you’re renting” and then I remember that I’ll be paying a mortgage off that’s over £300 a month cheaper than my rent and yep it’s all worth it
