Our valuation has just come back. £25k under. Nightmare lol!

I just had a notification on my credit Experian that 2 Santander searches were done on my account. Not sure if they are hard searches or soft.

@wazza07 oh no I wouldn’t want that happening , what a nightmare for you. We paid more than asking price as 3 others were after property , just have to wait and see what happens now

Similar situation to us. The property had insane levels of competition so we went above asking price. Hopefully you'll have some better news. Hoping to see if we can meet in the middle!

Hi all,
We applied for a 85% mortgage on 13th Aug, I was expecting a long wait from the comments I had read and looking at Santander's timescale on their website, to my amazement we had our offer through yesterday 20.08.20. I am Gloucestershire and it would seem desktop valuations are taking place to speed up the process. 
 
Good luck to anyone still waiting to hear! It's a painful wait but it's always worth it in the end!!

Oh wow that’s brilliant. So quick. We had our valuation done on the 19th but it was a physical one. Hoping to hear something early next week
