Has anybody managed to contact Santander to track application if applied via broker. 

I know they are pretty overloaded atm but just wondering if it’s possible?

My broker called them today (Friday morning) and had to hold for an hour but got through eventually and was able to get the results of our valuation that was conducted earlier this week. They also gave him a supposed timeframe for underwriter final decision and mortgage offer. Fingers crossed. 

Brilliant thank you, I’ll see if that’s possible next week. We applied on the 28th, valuation done on the 12th (no idea of the outcome), questions from underwriters on the 18th then nothing since. I’m on tender hooks! Lol best of luck to you 🤞 

We applied 29th but our valuation wasn't done until Monday 18th. They haven't asked for anything and the person he spoke to yesterday said they don't seem to need anything and we should get a decision Monday and offer on Wed but I won't hold my breath until it's confirmed! 
Hopefully your broker can call for you on Monday and get the valuation results and some sort of update! The waiting and wondering is just horrible isn't it. Thank you, good luck to you too

Could you update - if you receive the offer today? 

Nothing unfortunately knew it was too good to be true! Hopefully will hear tomorrow, I will update once we do hear something.

We're doing this through a broker so I only have the broad steps:

Application submitted - 06/07
Valuation Instructed - 19/07
Passed to Underwriters - 19/07
Broker notices lender have dropped one digit from the house number on their system and corrects it - 22/07
Valuation Booked - 23/07 for 28/07
Valuation Cancelled by surveyors due to wrong address being provided to them by lender!  - 25/07

They have suddenly moved from 6 July yesterday to 20 July today on setting up applications and checking docs on the intermediaries site, so wonder if they are catching up a bit now

I was told by my broker yesterday they were dealing with 12th July , I’m hoping your right and 20th as mines the 14th so I may hear off them tomorrow 🙄

Sorry my application was on the 4th but sent to underwriter on 14th so they recon tomorrow but we will see . I don’t no what to expect.

Same to you ! My MB has made out it’s a done deal as my income has been passed and I’m accepted pending valuation which has now took place and is fine but I’ve just not seen the proof that’s all that’s worrying me .

Hi Infamous, just to let you know we got an underwriter agreed notification today and then the mortgage offer came through later in the day. Really happy! Hope you hear soon if you're still waiting (and everyone else who is waiting!)

Our valuation is today! I had to chase the broker for this update but nice to see some movement.

Worried about down vvaluation.... we offered at asking which was only 3% above what it sold for 16 months ago, fingers crossed. 

Timeline so far:

Applied: 6th July
Credit check: 6th July
Passed to Underwriters: 19th July
Valuation: 27th July
