Application submitted (via broker): 26/05/2022
Valuation instructed for 6th June: 26/05/2022
Mortgage approved pending valuation: 27/05/2022
Downvalued by £10,000: 07/06/2022
*Lost first house due to seller not renegotiating*
Revised application submitted on a new house: 21/06/2022
Underwriting transferred/agreed to new house: 23/06/2022
Valuation Booked: 30/06/2022 (Was instructed on the same day it was carried out oddly)
No update since, although have been told by the phone team to expect an decision by Thursday this week!1 -

Our timeline so far (direct application, £680K loan):
10/06- app submitted following successful DIP on same day
11/06- initial docs requested & submitted
12/06- valuation instructed
23/06- valuation successful (desktop, not visit required)Then it got a bit annoying
Lots of back and forth asking for proof of deposit and additional payslips (even though these were all given initially, they just didn’t review them properly).
Was promised an underwriter response in three working days - that was on Thursday, so hoping it comes on Monday

Update to our timeline this morning:28/06 - full application direct online first thing in the morning.
29/06 - asked for more info and supplied within 6 mins.
01/07 - Passed to underwriters and valuation checks being done. Believe since speaking to them that they were desktop review only and has been accepted.
05/07 - asked for more info and supplied within 20 mins.
09/07 - received 2nd lot of address verification codes and submitted.12/07 - extra info approved and sent back to underwriters.
18/07 - underwriters approved application.Now waiting for valuation checks (which I’m pretty sure have been done already) and issue of offer.2 -

Hello everyone, I received this message from my broker this afternoon, forwarded from Santander,
"The documents and broker notes have been reviewed by admin and now we are waiting on the underwriters fully assessing/scoring the cases"
