Did you get any updates in between?stephen7_2 said:I've just had my broker email me saying santander have approved my mortgage he should have the offer tomorrow. Been waiting since 27th June application went in.
FTB 95% mortgage, applied through broker.

Looking at the santander for intermediaries website they are still processing applications submitted 24th June and so are 5 days behind they even start looking at ours. Is this accurate? https://www.santanderforintermediaries.co.uk/submit-and-track-business/our-service-levels/
Few people have mentioned tracking online or calling the Santander service team and getting an update. Is this possible even if you didn't apply direct?

There's no online tracker if you applied via a broker, only the broker gets access to a tracker. But even if you've applied through a broker you can still call the mortgage team to check on progress on 0800 085 1690, I rang them Monday to ask about my valuation as I was paranoid about a down valuation.thelastofman said:

Yes us. Posted automatically on the 28th June but not received by 5th July so called them up. They’ve sent new ones out first class on the 6th - still waiting for anything to arrive.KFTB said:Santander say they've posted our identify verification letters twice now but we're still yet to receive them. What did they say when you asked about the valuation? That's also what I'm paranoid about!noscrazy said:

The woman I spoke to was able to look at the report uploaded by the valuer and told me the figure on there, she was completely fine with telling me, I only needed to confirm my name and the address of the property. If you give them a call, they should be able to tell you the value (providing the report has been uploaded which it likely has!). Just be aware it was like a 30 minute wait time for me to get through to someone.thelastofman said:

Did you get any update between submitting the application and valuation being done? The only email I’ve received is that they’ve received my application.noscrazy said:

When applying through a broker you only get an email with confirmation of your application and nothing else, any further updates will be sent to the broker directly so it is up to them if they forward them on to you or not (mine didn't... so I had to chase him a few times).thelastofman said:

This is an example of what the mortgage advisor sees when they go on to their tracker (as my mortgage advisor forwarded it on to me):thelastofman said:

I just called and they said despite saying it it was posted first class it can take 3-5 working days to arrive.Tiger2805 said:

I also just called and said there were a few people in the same position and asked if there was a wider problem. They said the previous call they just had was someone who had received their codes so wasn’t widespread.
I also asked, given I’m a Santander credit card customer, why they needed to do the check given they already know me at my current address - apparently it’s a part of the direct online application and has to be completed.0
