When it says average time to offer on their service level page does that mean from first application or from valuation or from when it goes to underwriter?0

Draft contracts have been received by solicitors now. Searches are underway, 3 have come back already, just waiting on the rest.

greenpanda said:@sierrajuliet we are over 5 weeks now too. Frustratingly we were approved in a number of days last year for a sale that fell through. I spoke to our MB yesterday and some of the questions they have been getting are astonishing - including for one person 'why did you receive a payrise during covid?'
The underwriters don’t seem to be looking at ours as fast as everyone on here. I wonder have NI a different queue 🤔 seems to be 4/5 days between information being provided by our broker and a response coming back from the underwriters.0 -

In fact, I contacted my solicitor this morning asking if he heard anything and he still hasn’t. He asked me to chase up with the vendor (private sale) which I did, she said she’ll call me this evening so I’m now worried she’s calling me with bad news 😭🙈1 -
Hoping for some good news today! Good luck everyone still waiting to hear! We only went to the underwriters on Monday. Last application that was approved took two days at underwriters but this time the application process is very different to the one we did two weeks ago!0

ours went to underwriters Friday 14th may
Exactly one month today since we applied. I can’t take much more of the stress - it’s all I can think about

It’s really frustrating isn’t it. We have only been waiting two weeks but I’m comparing it to the last time we applied. We’ve had to take me off the mortgage and my partners dad on it as he is putting the deposit down.So you should definitely hear something today as says within 3 days for them to update you.Have you applied direct or with a broker?1

Thanks for the replies about the notifications if through a broker. At least I know I am as reliant on my broker for updates as others.
Really pleased to read how some of yours are progressing. This is literally the most stressful thing ever! I find myself checking my emails almost every minute, have read every single thing on the intermediary website in minute detail about 3 times and check all of the updates on here. I feel like a crazy woman!
The wait is just awful isn't it.0 -
