Yes!! Two times in a row asking questions that were previously answered and requesting payslips previously provided! My MB was able to send these off straight away as she had them already but now we’re back to the end of the UW queue since yesterday again 😬 we applied 5 weeks ago today 😭greenpanda said:I'd anyone getting repeat or silly questions? I THINK we are finally back with the underwriters today. We've had two rounds of questions where they've already had the documents or statements (asking for payslips they already have and asking for a covid statement they already have).0 -
@sierrajuliet we are over 5 weeks now too. Frustratingly we were approved in a number of days last year for a sale that fell through. I spoke to our MB yesterday and some of the questions they have been getting are astonishing - including for one person 'why did you receive a payrise during covid?'0

How long have people been waiting to hear back from valuations? Our mortage was approved a few weeks ago subject to valuation but today is the soonest slot they had for a physical valuation in my area? Hoping I hear back today and the stress is over but I’m not so sure the turn around will be that fast 🙈0

Our full valuation was Thursday just gone and we found out yesterday after my broker chased them, they down valued the property by £12,000 so waiting to here from vendor to see if she will meet us half way, been waiting since yesterday afternoon and it’s killing me 😂😭, even got my family ringing me every 5 mins to see if I have heard anything lol good luck hope it goes well for ulg220701 said:How long have people been waiting to hear back from valuations? If the valuation is all good then you'll probably get an email the same did saying they've offered.lg220701 said:How long have people been waiting to hear back from valuations? My valuation was supposedly in the morning and by 3pm I got an email saying they had offered.
Depends how quickly underwriters agreed your case.0 -
Ahh no! I hope they meet you in the middle, fingers crossed for you. I am not too concerned about the price I have offered as it is relatively low as there is a lot of work needing doing, and it is around the same price as property’s in that particular street. It is the waiting that kills me!Cookie211 said:

Ah that is helpful! I’m not worried about the property value I think it will be fine, just wanting to get things moving I can’t bare waiting around for another couple of days. Our case was agreed fairly quickly- went to underwriters, underwriters requested one more supporting document in addition to pay slips and bank statement, agreed the next day. Fingers crossed I hear today or even tomorrow will be great!ubayd95 said:

We are back in the UW queue
I'm assuming the dates on 'Santander for Intermedaries' are not accurate at all?0 -
Had a email the vendor is happy to take £2000 off but we happy with that as we think the house is worth it as it’s had an extension plus attic room is done, I have actually got a smile on my face for a change, good luck all1
