We’ve had another hard check today. The first one was 16th March. What’s your status? I’m hoping we are literally at the end. They must be dealing with our case today.Cookie211 said:

We had to send all payslips in and give current employer details. Ie address and phone number.Rowethren said:We have just joined the Santander waiting game and really hoping it goes smoothly. Our current situation is:
07/04/2020 - MiP/soft credit check
08/04/2020 - Full application/ hard credit check/ told by MA that application was accepted subject to valuation.
Hopefully the valuation should be booked in today or possibly done today if they only do a desktop one.
I did have a question for those of you further through the process. What information was required for employment checks? I have tried speaking to my employer and they have been rather vague about the contact details I should provide if asked. My husband works for a construction company that was brought out by a huge company, yet his employer still operates under their own name, so the payslips were under a different name which caused so much confusion for Santander. Luckily our broker managed to sort it all1 -
Check your credit searches. We both might be in the final stages now I believe. I think we’ve spanned the last 40 odd pages of this forum now. 😂😂Cookie211 said:

You just prompted me to check my score in general. It's not changed in ages but has dropped 46 points since our search went in. Is that normal for a credit score to drop after a search? Seems steep for just doing an application (application itself seems to be going through fine we should know Weds as they said it'll take underwriters 3 working day from Friday 3.30PMpeacetrustlove said:

This seems normal. We are a joint application. My score didn’t drop at all. I wonder why. But my wife’s score did drop by 56 at Experian. My personal finances are a lot stronger than those of my wife. Perhaps that’s why? Just a guess. But TBH, every hard check takes a chip away off the score. Hope that helps. Good luck with your mortgage.funky1471 said:

Seems like that’s the only thing they are updating 😂😂. Residential and BTL are now slower than a week ago. Then they were both 9 days.lsim88 said:
