I’ve been following this thread for the past week. I share everyone’s frustration haha. 

Our timeline is 

dip 26/03
offer accepted and application in 29/03
More evidence required 31/03
more evidence required 06/04

still waiting to hear if we have been approved or not. 

We did it direct instead of a broker so unable to track but this past week has been anxiety ridden hahaha 

I hope everyone gets the news they are hoping for today xxx

The stamp duty holiday extension and the long Easter weekend has sent everything in a backlog. I believe if you have applied directly, you should be able to ring them up and find out what’s happening.

We have just joined the Santander waiting game and really hoping it goes smoothly. Our current situation is:

07/04/2020 - MiP/soft credit check
08/04/2020 - Full application/ hard credit check/ told by MA that application was accepted subject to valuation.

Hopefully the valuation should be booked in today or possibly done today if they only do a desktop one.

I did have a question for those of you further through the process. What information was required for employment checks? I have tried speaking to my employer and they have been rather vague about the contact details I should provide if asked.

Your timeline is the same as ours! We submitted ours via a broker on the 8th. Our mortgage broker advised valuation had been booked but he didn’t say when for. Here’s hoping it’s good news for all of us soon.

We’ve had another hard check today. The first one was 16th March. What’s your status? I’m hoping we are literally at the end. They must be dealing with our case today.

Oh good luck! I hope it goes smoothly. We just provided payslips.

Our timeline is pretty similar however we are yet to have any update from the broker. All documents submitted, eg payslips and bank statements on the 8th.

Hoping it is all going to go smoothly !
