So I emailed our broker for an update. Said they spoke this morning 🧐 they are giving us an offer £3k under what we asked for based on our YTD figures on payslips. She has appealed it but won’t hear until Monday now. We have the means to cough up the rest for the deposit. Just feels abit petty to take of 3k that we could use for a new bathroom or something! Stamp duty gone my !!!!!! lol

Oh never hopefully u will have good news Monday, well they have approved your mortgage offer which is good,let’s hope they offer the full amount Monday

Unfortunately we got declined as things stand but they're willing to reopen our case in 2 weeks when they see an updated payslip. The pain continues

Thanks we've just had a text to say they have all the documents they require and they will be in touch within 3 working days with an update. At least we can sleep easy until next Wednesday and not be on tenterhooks
