First post on The MSE forum, currently in the process of a Santander mortgage application, got the text to say our mortgage application was received on Friday via a MA. So nervous the wait already has me refreshing emails every two minutes 😬

Thanks for sharing @S61sw, I find myself in the same position! Waiting is so nerve racking; think it is best not to overthink it. 
Would you say your case is relatively "straightforward" ?

I heard that their rates are lower comparing to the HSBC or Barclay's

Yeah definitely, we applied straight through our MA, obviously she’s done all the ground work. DIP prior to our offer being accepted by the vendor, all our docs submitted to Santander on 4th text received from Santander on the 5th. Fingers crossed it all goes ok, for you too! 💪🏻
