Someone else on here said they didn’t have another credit check either. I think u will be fine.Mani_London said:
Hi 85c: True. I am spending very less (not even my weekly grocery shopping) on my credit card etc as well. But still this fear is really daunting. I am not going to apply for any credit but it is good to know they don't do a credit check at completion. Salary been paid for February and the only DD left to go is my credit card bill which will go out on 10th. Fingers crossed.85c said:I also read this, the stress from exchange to completion was awful, I was so worried this would happen. I believe this only happens if something flagged on your credit score, or if your situation changed, so basically make sure you pay everything on time and don’t take any credit out. We completed on our house and rented the house we were buying for a month, we didn’t even cancel our bills on the old house we just kept paying everything so there would chance of late payments. Santander never actually did a credit check before we completed.0 -
The waiting is so hard! Our valuation was completed on 24th, old & incorrect paperwork was submitted which resulted in a decline. Spoke to MA who resubmitted the correct paperwork, told on Wednesday we should hear by today... still no word 😖0

Just wondering if anyone's offer is a different rate from what they applied for?0

We received our offer by email and text on a Friday evening and received our paperwork the following Saturday. Our MB and solicitors received their copies way before we did.samster1 said:

Thanks for the info! Such anxious times, not knowing if they’re going to ask for more info etc etc 😅MK31 said:
