Hi all, have been reading back through this thread, and the different timelines are crazy! Our application was submitted on 28/08/20, and passed to underwriters on 04/09/20. We haven't heard anything, or been asked for any extra documents. I can see a credit application search was done on the day it was applied for. Should I expect to see any other searches by now, do you think? Mortgage broker tells us it is still with underwriters. Just wondered how this compared to what anyone else is going through, or what they have noticed in terms of searches? Thanks!0

@xNaomi our application also went in on Monday night so in the same boat as yourself, credit search done on the day by the looks on Experian.xNaomi said:Our full application went in on Monday night so now to begin the long wait to hear back
Looks like it could be 4/5 weeks before we hear anything...0 -
Same as us - hard search done on day of application. Our mortgage advisor said they expect an update in 4-5 days, going by the dates online - this is prob for any additional documents required.MatthewB21 said:

I know it’s not even been a week but I’m so impatient already!0 -
We’re far too impatient for it all, judging by some of the replies the website dates aren’t the best to go off but fingers crossed it’s a smooth process!xNaomi said:

The mortgage broker said that the valuation has been done, I'm not entirely confident on that though! Does it sound similar to your experience? Thanks for the reply 🙂SueF1 said:

Similar timescales to me. Applied 26/8. Then was with Underwriters during that time and physical valuation completed 15/9. Valuation received 17/9. Then was told it had passed the UW stage and was ready for offer by 22/9, only to have questions begin at that stage by the UW. Still waitingroro123 said:

We now have offer subject to valuation. Applied 26th. One of us SE and didn't have a single query on that which is strange (I think?) Not sure when the valuation will be done1

@wires1984 that's awesome, congratulations! How did you receive the offer?0
