We're supposed to be completing end of October. It sounded a really long time ago when this all started but it's slowly creeping up!0 -
Our full application went in on 26th August. They asked for more payslips last Friday, not heard a thing since.
The wait seems never ending0 -
At least we are all in the same boat. It’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one who has waited forever!!!!0

After spending 3 weeks at the underwriters, we had our mortgage approved on Monday and the valuation was completed on the... wait for it.... following day the Tuesday. Yesterday we were told mortgage offer being sent out.0

I have never seen such a random mix of timeframes. There is literally no logic to it at all. All I would advise is to forget about what is happening to other people here on forums such as this as they bear little or no resemblance on your own applications.0

Solicitor has come back saying all the searches have now been received, only ordered them last Friday. He’ll begin the task of queries now to the developer. Still no mortgage offer though but risked the loss of money in the hope that it will speed up exchange IF we get the offer through. If only the underwriters were this efficient0

We decided right at the beginning to instruct the solicitors even though it could be a waste of money, purely to speed things up. Everything basically done on the buying side, just waiting for our mortgage offer.
Selling side still waiting on some things but solicitor seems totally on the ball and efficient.
Our small chain would like to complete by end of October so thought it better to get everything moving.0
