Finally we had our offer this morning!!! After 12 weeks and a decline and an appeal! £15k under but we can make that work! We originally went with Aldermore who after 11 weeks retracted it! So after 7 months we have an offer. I’m still soooo nervous they might change there minds 😂😬
So glad for you! Glimmers of hope at last.
    Congrats

    Congratulations :) Happy for you
    Thank you 😄
Did they give you any explanations about 15k less amount offer? Were they look into 2 years average rather than the last year one? I asked you because our last year revenue is better than 2 years average and we chosen Santander because we've been told that they look into only last year figure and if not then I will be expecting lower amount then AIP. Thank you.

Yes 85c! I'm over the moon for you, you deserve it after all this time and stress! I check this thread every couple of days literally just to see whether you'd had news as we were applying at the same time and I think you were the last one of that gang! What a relief eh.
My buyer still doesn't have their mortgage so all the effort, stress and cost of applying for ours will probably be for nothing :(

Amazing news. I knew you guys would get it!!! I have been checking for your updates!! Well done! No reason for them to change their minds now. It’s been well and truly scrutinised!!
    Good luck with the move!
  • Congrats 85c, you got there in the end!
After my rant of a post this morning, we have just had our offer confirmed by our MB!

No idea why, It was an average of the 2 years, we could’ve tried to borrow up to £400k we asked for £314 they’ve agreed £285, we actually wanted £300, MB was the one who put in for £314 god knows why, so it actually £29k under but in our heads we are only £15k under. We’ve been trading 16 years but only ltd 2 years.

Unfortunately yes! It's a long story but there's been an issue with his credit file due to a stolen identity default in 2018 which only came to light when santander did a hard check. It's taking ages to resolve and I have no idea where it's at now, trying to get an update. We've been back on the market since end of Nov but it's been quiet, we've started getting enquiries now Christmas is over but the new lockdown might put people off visiting-who knows. He still might come through but I'm resigning myself to needing a new buyer and probably losing our purchase as a result. But these things usually happen for a reason don't they and I haven't completely lost hope! I hope the rest of your journey goes smoothly now xx
