Yes I agree xmas could have been somewhat better! Just know you arent alone in the wait... many others inc myself bearing the grunt of the long waiting times. Just wish they'd ask for everything they want in one hit! This back and forth drives me insane... and takes days on ends to be looked at

It wasn't an an appeal they just said they didn't like how we paid our self reduced the amount by 25k than said approved subject we have the remaining balance which we did funny enough thank god they wanted proof which we did send our broker was angry with all this but he can't do anything he said this week we should hear something so still waiting iam intending to call tomorrow and see what is going on so will update here .

We are still waiting ours was declined gone to appeal, appeal been excepted they ask for more info now just waiting. It’s been over 6 months of this.

@Bad123 yes they wanted proof of my deposit too which I gave them... then 10days later asked for how I got this together I.e. wanted statements so gave that too.... came back another week later with they want page numbers written on them. I was absolutely livid. My MB too was shocked but as yours said cant do anyhing. Yes pls update on here will be good to relay each other whatever info we can.
@85c yours gone on for ages cant imagine how fed up you're feeling. Really unhappy with Santander being this slow! Alot of ppl on their Facebook page comments section are also complaining of long wait times... we arent alone

I know it’s awful. The worse stress of my life. Our business grew through covid continued to work everyday, fully booked all next year. Excellent credit rating, no debt, 20% deposit. We have friends who have lied and fiddled and mortgages all gone through. It’s so unfair.

Just heard from santander and what a surprise they want to know where the Money 25k came from which we just send again more proof statement broker said we should hear by next week.

@Bad123 sounds all so familiar to mine. Fingers crossed for us! Their timelines are also moving which is good- currently on 15th December! 
They seem so hung up on where ppl are getting deposit money from

Similar to us, we provide 3 x we’ve been ltd for 2 years, they then declined us for not trading for 2 years, went to appeal, and we’ve now registered with company house our 2nd year, and accountant has provided paperwork that we’ve been ltd for 2 years twice, still waiting to hear.

We have been self employed for 4 i told my broker how santander are so bad they should have asked for everything when we applied it feel like they just delaying it on purpose told us will hear in 4 days so here we go next week 🤞

Yes I feel we have all had these simlar thoughts and conversations with out brokers. So frustrating.
How did they know you'll hear in 4 days? Doesnt it go back to the underwriting queue...
