Our MB STILL thinks we're in the initial assesment queue and our 'entry date' into that changed from the 17th November to 8th December when they asked us some questions. I'm afraid she may have just copped the brunt of my hangover via email - can't help but feel someone here has messed up (maybe me for starting this process).
I'm pretty close to pulling this now given, bar some five year old late payments on a shopping account, we're a really straightforward case.0 -

My slightly stroppy email has worked: we're in the reassement queue. It's my husband's 30th next Wednesday - I'm so hoping he gets a mortgage shaped birthday gift.0 -
So I asked my solicitor to get involved. He called Santander and they have said that they would fast track the application if we get a letter from the seller’s solicitor to confirm that if we do not get approval on x date, then the seller would have to consider pulling out.Thoughts ?0

Hi all been following this thread for a few weeks now and I’m starting to get a bit impatient now 😂. We applied via mortgage broker on 26 October. Went into the underwriters queue on 2nd November with valuation done. Both me and my partner are employed no debts not affected by the lockdown periods and applying for 85%ltv. Apperntly the application was reviewed on the 1st December where Santander wanted our Experian credit reports as they said that we had undisclosed credit and could not borrow The full amount. Anyway to cut a long story short Santander had made a mistake and then it went back into the under writers queue on the same day 1st December. According to the Santander website they are now working from the 2nd December however we chased it up with the Mb on Friday who said them dates are incorrect and they still have not looked at our case since. I’m now getting to the point of giving up in fairness it’s causing me so much stress and starting to worry the seller will get fed up of waiting. We are going into our 8th week today and starting to really hate Fridays 😂
