Week long queue! Submitted the documents requested on Monday 7th Dec, underwriters are still on the 2nd December re-assessment cases according to the online portal. They are so slow! I just hope they do not ask for anything else...26C said:
Did you go back into a week long queue or did they reply that day?LP_London said:
Yes we were asked this (my brother whom is SE), asked ‘why 19/20 tax year shows a significant increase of income compared to previous tax year’. Explanation from you such as a promotion is more than valid!26C said:UW has asked my accountant to confirm why my income has increased and if its sustainable. This is due to promotion. We’re exactly the same as you, answered a question and submitted bank statements on the 7th.....we were desperately hoping to hear back today 😅LP_London said:

Ahhh no chance :-( if they change the date to 3rd December by 5pm today, we may get lucky to hear something on Monday or Tuesday...this will depend how fast they work on the weekend. Tried to call them directly myself but they keep saying to go through the mortgage broker!Meh123 said:

I’ve stopped taking the dates on their site as gospel since our UW date was 9th Nov and when they asked for further info it was still on the 5th....I’m clutching at straws at this stage, it’s been 8 long long weeks!!LP_London said:

They haven’t updated the site since 8:30 this morning either....don’t think it’s ever done that before 😅LP_London said:

We have been waiting since 25th Sept! Don’t know how much longer we can wait! I just hope they don’t ask for anything else, as they are yet to instruct a valuation and who knows how long that may take.Meh123 said:

Feel for you! I felt like a right idiot the other day because I’ve been keeping our sellers up to date with our application and due to circs for them they had to apply to Santander start of the month, they’re SE & E too so I was all ‘oh don’t worry, it’ll take a while but we’ll wait and totally understand’......they got their accept YESTERDAY, 8 working days!! I spent about 30 minutes yesterday screaming at our broker asking why we’ve paid for them to deal with it and are sat in a queue whilst people in the same circs have gone direct and it’s sorted a week later!! I’m sure they must think we have some kind of hidden issue at this stage because it’s taking so long!LP_London said:

I will be having a very similar conversation with my MB come Monday morning! The online portal still hasn’t updated since 8:30am...the wait continues....Meh123 said:

I’ve no idea what that’s about, it normally updates 3x plus a day but today....nothing. This whole process has left me hating weekends as it just feels like wasted time!!LP_London said:

Hello. We are FTB and HTB with %75 LTV applied on 16th November. Valuation has been instructed at the same day on 16th November to be date on 2 December which has completed. We are SE and E and just wondering that Santander looks into only one year account for the company or more because our MB told is to check only one year records as our company has only 2 years history. I read some post here about 1 year has been declined. Any comments please? Thank you.0
