Has anyone who is with a broker called direct for an update? Will they talk to you? Thank you
We called.  They said they cant until after it has gone past the underwriters and over to mortgage centre.  Till then ask broker
    Thank you
We are also limited company, you will have to ask your broker when it went into underwriter queue and then check with the date on website... bite your tongue till then
    Are you both SE?
Yes we both are SE and Ltd company as well. So more complicated
We are exactly the same, 9 weeks Thursday, should’ve had an update last week. Broker is not helpful. What have you submitted so far?
personal bank statements for both of us, accountant certs for both Sole trader and for Limited company. I am hoping they don't ask for business bank statements when it hits 30th as that will drag this on for another week.  Surprised at the minimal info they wanted.

They’ve not asked for any bank statements from us yet. I’m thinking that’s what the update will be.
Please no update.... just an offer.... I can't cope with anything else

So I have just had a call from my broker. The UW wanted to know if I was still employed and also if my work had been affected by COVID which is hasn't.
I asked him if that meant we will go back to the queue that takes a week and he said that no it shouldn’t, and he will message back the underwriter who will then pass it onto the mortgage processing centre.
Not going to get my hopes up yet. I’m waiting until ‘I get a text’!!!!
  • I’m wondering if his response is classed as a Broker message as he doesn’t have to send any supporting documents. And they are responding to messages received yesterday. 🙏🏻🤞

Thank you to the lovely person who said ring Santander, just spoke to them very helpful, we have submitted bank statements, SA03, credited books. And the form they wanted. It’s with the under writer now and will definitely have an update end of today probably tomorrow. Our broker is just the worse!

I did and said my broker was in holiday hence update..they were lovely and very open x
Thanks so much, I called them and they said they had received notification from my solicitor that my buyer is pushing exchanged and placed us in the priority que and I should hear by Friday my solicitor has also emailed me to say this. I have no idea what the priority que is but if it stops my sale from falling through then today has been a good day they were also very helpful to me too thanks for sharing x
