Whattttt!!! This is insane...a change in solictor details should mean you go to the bottom...and it’s the EA and Brokers fault for not double treble checking these things...I’d find out what date you were back in queue before making any decisions...xxMeh123 said:
The stress was already getting to me, this has just tipped it over the edge. I can’t redo all the time we’ve spent in the UW queue again, the thought of it just makes me want to dig a hole and climb on it!!! I think I need wine, carbs and some sleep before I make any decisions 😅85c said:
Yes definitely sleep on it. It’s horrible, if it helps we’ve been at this for 18 weeks now, originally went with Aldermore after 11 weeks they made us an offer then retracted it as we no longer fitted there criteria, so now with Santander, I’m not going to lie the stress is unbelievable awful but you get to a point where u don’t let it consume u as much, it may be worth hanging on in there.Meh123 said:
I wish we had! Application received on the 18th and originally went into the queue on the 26th Oct, due to get to the top of it end of this week ....trying to find out exactly what date we were put back into it now. I’m genuinely ready to walk away at this stage, think I need to sleep on it before I make any decisions though as my brain is completely scrambled right now.85c said:
Oh my god that’s awful!!!! I can’t believe you have to go to bottom of cue!!! So unfair. I thought you’d had an offer?Meh123 said:
That’s what I was thinking.mowgliisaG said:
Seeing as though the 24/25th oct is a weekend that should jump to 26th by tomorrow therefore you should defo hear by Thursday/Friday xMeh123 said:
Yuk! Well I hope you just get a nice text saying offer approved!! The queue is on the 23rd now and my brain is ready to explode, we’re the 26th/27th (broker isn’t entirely sure) and I’m officially losing my mind!fastbs said:Our MB is off for a few days now so doubt we’ll hear anything this week now ☹️
But just had a call from Mortgage broker who told us the EA gave the wrong solicitor details and it’s had to be rekeyed....We’ve just been put back at the bottom of the queue. About to have a serious chat with the Mr about knocking it all on the head, I don’t actually think I can do another 4/5 weeks.0 -
What on earth has the solicitor details got to do with your application anyway!? And how did they even know? Thats something that can be rectified in a heartbeat! I'd be absolutely fuming and I'm so sorry. I saw I'd missed about 6 pages and thought I'd see loads of good news, not loads of bad0

I’m just absolutely gutted! I’m hoping to find out tomorrow and take it from there. I just can’t believe we’ve been through this process just to be put back to the start again, I’m hoping something can be done. At this stage I’m potentially even thinking about if there is another lender who’s faster, as is there is then I can’t see the point in sitting in the Santander queue any more! I was starting to get excited thinking we’d have contact from the UW end of this week and hopefully an offer next week. That’ll teach me for positive thinking 😂😂😂mowgliisaG said:

was this your final 2020 accounts in at companies house or just the accountant certificate confirming the estimated figures for 2020?85c said:
We are a limited company to, we uploaded the sa032 form plus accounts, last week we had to submit a new form from Santander for accountant to fill in. With our up to date earnings but others have submitted this with initial application.cherryx3x3 said:
My partner has a Limited company so we have provided SA302 forms and accounts for the last 3 years. Hopefully I am just over thinking everything....it makes you go mad this waiting around 😒NatNat77 said:Cherry - Is your partner employed and have you provided evidence of his income? When I made my app they told me for what we needed to borrow they didn't need evidence of my additional self employed income as what we already earned between us should have been enough, and it could always be added later if needed. Saved uploading more evidence and making it more complicated than necessary. And they were right, ours was approved without it. Maybe your MB is confident you can borrow what you need with the evidence you've already provided?0 -
Is it worth asking in the ‘ask a mortgage broker thread’ for their advice?1

Yes. We are actually using one of the brokers from the thread - Sarah (haras_nossirah) - I think Sarah knows everything when it comes to mortgages 😂pinklady3333 said:Is it worth asking in the ‘ask a mortgage broker thread’ for their advice?22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
23/11 - mortgage offer issued
19/12 - completed0 -
some lenders are quicker than others. I have just rescued someone who was going via another broker. After waiting 3 months for an offer was declined by natwest (self employed). A parent offered to lend them 450k to get them over the line so they exchanged without a mortgage offer
and then came to me. Spoke to them on the 4th nov, application done on the 5th, approved on the 9th, val done on the 19th and completing on the 5th dec.
I was as suprised as they were but went straight through0 -
should reiterate that that wasn't santander.1

Hubby said it wasn’t any of that it was something about earnings over last 3 years, to be honest we didn’t really understand it, accountant just sorted it.26C said:
