    Yes definitely sleep on it. It’s horrible, if it helps we’ve been at this for 18 weeks now, originally went with Aldermore after 11 weeks they made us an offer then retracted it as we no longer fitted there criteria, so now with Santander, I’m not going to lie the stress is unbelievable awful but you get to a point where u don’t let it consume u as much, it may be worth hanging on in there.

    Hey has your MB reffered it to a business development manager apparently they have the power/authority to push through ive been told by my MB co ordinator and also read on Facebook pages

    We have originally applied with Leeds in September, the wait was killing us..(well, it was killing me, my other half was more relaxed about it). When you say the bottom of the queue - how long is the queue? I bet you're going mental, you've been waiting so long - it won't be long before you hear.
    22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
    10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
    11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
    12/11 - all documents sent
    13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
    19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation 
    23/11 - mortgage offer issued
    19/12 - completed

    The stress was already getting to me, this has just tipped it over the edge. I can’t redo all the time we’ve spent in the UW queue again, the thought of it just makes me want to dig a hole and climb on it!!! I think I need wine, carbs and some sleep before I make any decisions 😅

    Thank you, that’s going to be my request when I speak with him tomorrow, it’s absolutely unreasonable to expect anyone to wait 2 months just to get your application in front of an underwriter!!
