    I’m sure you’ll hear something @mowgliisaG !
we haven’t heard anything since we answered that question on Thursday!

Hopefully you’ll have your offer by the end of the coming week! Everything crossed for you both 🤞🏻
Thank you! Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone waiting on some form of communication or offer! We’re all in this together 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
That phrase sounds a lot more genuine when it comes from someone in this group instead of Boris 😂😂

A quick question for anyone who has had their offer recently...
Have they requested any further payslips since submitting offer?

I was furloughed during the first lockdown but then got a letter from my employer to say I was returning back on 2nd November, due to some personal issues I have been working 3 days for the past 3 weeks to work towards going back in full time soon. I'm starting to worry they might want my November payslip then will think my job isn't secure even though my employer would be happy to submit another letter to confirm my current status whilst furlough is available.

    Am I over thinking?
I doubt they will, I’ve not seen anyone been asked, but I didn’t realise until recently they can ask for bank statements and do credit checks up until completion, even after exchange. But I really don’t think they will.
Yeah they can do all that as a last minute check to make sure you’re still employed/haven’t suddenly bought a Porsche/had a change of financial circumstance. They reserve the right to request whatever they want up until the funds being released!

anyone else have feel a sense of relief on a Sunday night knowing that come Monday morning the wheels start turning again getting us closer to the top of the UW queue? Or is it just me being a weirdo, I dunno what’s normal anymore  🤷🏼‍♀️😂
    Me!!!

but also I’m nervous for tomorrow, if I hear!!!
Ahh you’ll be fine!! Hopefully you’ll hear something tomorrow and that just gets you closer to the finishing line! I’m hoping we hear something at the end of the week, even if it’s just a request for additional info.....I’ll take anything 😂😂
😂...the wait has really worn us down..now we just want to hear even if it’s a No...

Same here. I’m a pretty sturdy person, but this wait has absolutely fried my brain and has become all consuming! It’s such a huge thing and having no idea what’s happening or will happen is mental torture. Am I moving mid Jan or am I not, I just need to know 🤷🏼‍♀️😅
  • Yaay Monday tomorrow (how sad that sounds 😂)

It's our valuation day tomorrow, providing everything is ok, how long does it take to go into offer?

I'm wishing you all good luck  I'm sure most of you will hear some news! 🍀
22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
    12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
    23/11 - mortgage offer issued
    19/12 - completed

We completed on 13-Nov and weren’t asked for any additional payslips. They didn’t do another credit check either

We got our offer the same day (Monday 9th) but our buyer is still waiting for theirs and our house was valued on Friday 6th! Both with Santander. I'm really hoping for good news this week too as I keep hearing horror stories about down valuations and it's keeping me awake! It's bad enough stressing about getting your own mortgage lol! Fingers crossed it's the same day for you as well, and everyone else waiting gets put out of their misery soon :)

Haha I know what you mean, you spend all that time stressing over your mortgage and soon as you get it you’ll spend the next few weeks stressing your buyer gets it...why do we put ourselves through it...
