Application on the 22nd of July and still waiting 🙃
    OMG now that is depressing!
Have you been asked to provide extra stuff? Are you self employed? Surely that's not for a straight forward application is it...? :open_mouth:

I think I'd be over it if I'd waited this long!
  • Finally got word from our broker that the underwriters have approved the mortgage and we should receive our mortgage offer shortly! Application was submitted on the 11th of August! Such a long and stressful wait

@firsttimebuyerlpl. Congratulations bet your relieved , hoping we will hear something over next few days as we are similar timescale to you but had to wait longer for valuation. Wait is driving both me and hubby crazy , just want to move into our forever home now and get settled

To be honest I think it’s partly due to our broker leaving part way through the process, so we got lumped on to someone else who had a massive workload already and a query response got missed 🤦🏼‍♀️ We were initially told we are a straight forward case! Neither self employed, neither furloughed.. it’s just been a nightmare. Our completion is supposed to be last week of this month so really drastically need something to happen in the next week!
