  • Hi everyone,
Thought I’d join the forum during this long and anxiety-inducing wait.

My application was submitted on 28/8. Has anyone else who had their application submitted around this time heard anything?
Mine submitted 17/08, still with underwriting.

When you look at the Intermediaries page the underwriters are getting further and further behind. They're setting up applications/ checking docs/ responding to broker messages all from 7th September which has caught up massively but the reviewing applications sent to UW's bit is still at 25th August and moves much slower than the rest.

And if they request information that you need to respond to, you get dumped back into the queue it seems.  One week on since they requested info from me that they already had and have heard nothing.
  • And I don't know where they're getting the residential time to offer of 20 days from!

Yes that is annoying. If it's stuff they've already had what's going on?! Just making more work for themselves!
Our valuation's not for another 2 weeks yet so won't hear anything for weeks no doubt, plus OH is SE so will likely take longer  :'(

  • Application on the 22nd of July and still waiting 🙃
  • Mine has been 24 working days since application and I submitted more info as requested on 28/8 and still nothing and the hard searches were done at the very beginning. Due to downvaluation of 20k had to do a change of property form on the 28th too and no news on new valuation or anything. Driving me crazy

    OMG now that is depressing!
Have you been asked to provide extra stuff? Are you self employed? Surely that's not for a straight forward application is it...? :open_mouth:
