Those PFP prices are substantially lower than what I was quoted under their Fixed Sept 22 - Green v2 tariff.  Are your prices variable?

Yes , I am aware it may magically go up.

It would have been a whopping 45% more expensive if I had stayed with Neon Reef on Aqua One, and it would have been variable.
For better or worse I've taken the plunge and switched to Symbio Low Fair and Green 13 Month Fixed SE03 v21 at 12.977p/kWh, Daily charge only 10.00p, Exit fee £30 all inc VAT.  Starts 16 June.
Seems too good to be true, but nothing ventured, nothing gained !

You people really want to go to Symbio?

Yes, they have a dreadful reputation, but they're dreadfully cheap and it's fixed for 13 months, so I'm taking the gamble.

May as well ride it out while it lasts, but you are right, it is a gamble and I'll be very surprised if they make through the summer, let alone next winter, at those prices.
Worst case you'll have to deal with the SoLR process, so do your very best to avoid building up a credit balance if you can...

I'm jumping ship from NR and reluctantly going back to Symbio.  At least I managed to get through the winter on NR's Aqua One before they put up their prices.

The Maine v4 that they were proposing would have cost at least another £450 a year (nigh on £500 if we have another long cold one like the last).

Symbio were a bit of a pain when I was with them before, but if you keep a very close eye on your readings and their strange billing system and endeavour not to build up a big credit then TBH you got to treat it a bit like a sport. It's got to be worth a bit of pain to save nearly £500.

Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

Symbio is cheapest one for me too, next one is PfP. PfP was ok for gas, but I have ticket open with them for faulty gas meter for 2 months, so not sure, I want to give them my business, if they can't deal with existing issue. I definitely have to move, new prices are way too high.

I've moved 2 accounts away from Neon Reef last night and a 3rd one will leave shortly.  I seem to recall GB Energy Supply, hiking prices in a similar way and shortly after they closed down.  I quite liked Neon Reef too.  I wonder if management predicted the mass exodus?
