I've been with Neon Reef since February. I was a previously Yorkshire Energy cutomer and was switched to SP as the Supplier of Last Resort. I made a big mistake switching to Green Energy in January but managed to escape to Neon Reef a few weeks later.
Neon Reef has been great. No problems at all during the switching process, an accurate opening bill was produced which used the closing reading I gave to Green Energy. The estimated monthly direct debit was a little high so I emailed them and received a reply the next day (on a Sunday too!) and the DD was reduced to what I had requested. I have since emailed them when I changed my bank account and the reply was timely and included an online form to provide my new bank details.
So far I am very pleased. What I see if a rather efficient no-frills provider which does exactly what you would expect.

Just had notification of price increase from 2 July which will increase my current spend of £490 to £649. Looks like back to Symbio0

That's the reason to have taken the NR fixed rate tariff rather than the variable one.

Just been informed of a stonking 35% increase in my electricity payments with Neon Reef who I just joined less than a month ago. I'm paying more for just my electricity under this increase than I was for both electric and gas merely a year ago. My fear is that if I move to one of the cheaper providers is that they just follow suit with excessively inflation busting price increases. I've also been given notice from the gas provider that my bill with another company is also going up by 18% itself and I plan to switch shortly from that. Again, same problem if I switch.
If other bills and essential expenditure start going up by huge double digit percentages then things are going to be bad for society fast. But that's a debate for elsewhere.1 -
Bacman said:That's the reason to have taken the NR fixed rate tariff rather than the variable one.I doubt whether a fixed rate would have been cheaper: it would have had to been for two years, and I'm not sure they even offered a fixed tariff at that time, IIRC it was Aqua One (variable) only.I really can't complain, it lasted a very long time but all good things must come to an end.0

I literally joined NR today and I too have got the we are moving you to Marine V4 on 2 July.
As today (2 June) is my first day, how long do I have to wait until I can move again?

Tks for alerting me. I was about to jump in but may well stay with Octopus Tracker for the time being whilst I investigate the best of the rest (fixed rate) deals.Telegraph Sam
