Boohoo said:On MSE and CAB comparison site show Neon variable as the same price but the unit price and standing charge prices are more expensive when you go to the Neon website.
I have used my postcode and house number and the difference is over nearly 2p kwh(or what it is) and 7p daily charge.
Is this a price comparison issue or a Neon price rise?0 -

Either NR or the industry are the issue, but surely it shouldnt take this long to have meter readings verified, or is this all due to switching from SOLR Scottish Power?
Frequently complain and frequent promises to resolve.
They appear not to be dedicated to all customers.1 -
That must have gone wrong rapidly then, I submitted mine on Sunday without problem, but now you've set me wondering because I never received an acknowledgement

Just looked and the reading I submitted without difficulty two days ago shows on NR's system. Can't ever remember receiving an acknowledgement from them for meter readings, just get an appropriate invoice from them about five days later.0

An interesting thread. Neon Reef took over my supply on 3 April. I submitted a meter reading on 2 May, and then received a meter reading reminder on 3 May, which said I could ignore if I had submitted a reading in preceding 20 days, so I ignored it. The web site does show my meter reading as having been received, but 10 days on I am still waiting for a statement.

My online account does not give me the ability to upload any readings either.

Joined Neon Reef in February 2021 and now three months down the line, I still have the "You do not have any meters".
I do send meter readings to Neon Reef and I do get replies from them saying the readings have been added to my account.
Direct Debits are collected on time, three so far and May's due shortly but so far no Bill/Statement has been issued in the three months of being with them.

The normal DD was collected on 5 May, and I made a top up payment and gave a meter reading on 7 May. Both payments are shown on my online account along with the meter reading, but the May PDF invoice hasn't yet been generated. However, I'm not at all bothered if they're sometimes a bit slow, they've never overcharged and always get there in the end. My Aqua One variable tariff is dirt cheap (12.11343p/kWh, plus 13.2825p/day inc VAT) and has never been increased since I joined way back in February 2020, so that's pretty good going !Update: Email has arrived, invoice now on online account. Very glad I switched to Neon Reef and didn't worry about sister company Utility Point's poor ratings.0
