It looks a bit different now, either sign in via email or via password.
Tried both, and don't get the email and can't login.
Edit - this is on their main page, and the app works fine.
Customer noticePlease note that we are currently in the process of upgrading our customer portal which may mean that some functionality such as resetting your password and registering a new account, may be unavailable for a short period of time. If you cannot login to your online portal to submit your meter reads, you have the option to use the Neon Reef app (which can be downloaded from the Apple or Google Play store) or submit via our online form on the 'Meter readings' page. They've broken their website. Seems to be a ham-fisted attempt to introduce 2FA but all it gives is sweet FA !- If you log in with a password in the normal way it then says it's sent a text message. However, I haven't given them a mobile number and don't intend to do so: I get umpteen fraudulent calls on my landline so my mobile number is only given to friends and family. GCHQ have also warned that 2FA via SMS is insecure because it's so easy for a fraudster to take over a mobile phone number. And of course, a mobile can be lost or stolen so there's no guarantee that the recipient is the authorised person, and not everyone has a mobile and a good signal at home.
- If you choose email verification, the website doesn't respond and no email is received.

I signed in OK. Slightly different sign in interface now. By password or sent a one time code via text.
Pretty sure I selected password but still got sent a code which worked fine.
So two factor authentification option is new aspect.
Maybe they are requiring all accounts to verify that way first on the new system.0 -

Do you have to fail some sort of intelligence test to be a computer programmer ?So the only way you can log in to the web interface is if you have a mobile ?2FA so I can submit meter readings ?The world is full of idiots !At least the app still works. They have my landline number and e-mail - what is wrong with using one of them ?1

Well I tried the email link - no go AND now the code sent by text isn't working !!!0

The website has reverted to the original version and now works correctly.2

Looks like they didn't test the software mods. thoroughly enough ! (or at all !!)0

Boxman said:Been with NR since September. Initially gave them meter readings on the 1st month then realised that in my case the monthly statements were dated 15th of the month based on estimated readings at the 10th. From November onwards have given them the actual reading on the 10th of each month and the accurate statement using my readings with no estimates arrives on the 15th. As far as I can recall have never had an e-mail request from them for a meter reading.
I had anticipated this anyway and gave a reading late yesterday.0 -
Funnily enough, after posting that, for the first time I did get an email requesting a meter reading on the 10th of this month.0

I transferred on 7th April and the switch went quickly. At the moment my old and new supplier are using a different handover reading, Neon are using the reading I gave them both on 3rd, but Green.energy have estimated to 7th, so I have paid for the same units twice.
I expect it will come right, either Neon or Green.energy will adjust without having to be nagged.
Yesterday they changed their website so that you need a text to login, so infuriating, one of the reasons I hated Green was their daft "magic link". I understand my banks and investments having authentication but does an energy supply have to be so annoying to log onto?0
