Neon Reef - any views?

I still don't have any notification from Neon Reef that they have ceased trading.  Submitted a meter reading yesterday and their website seems to be operating as normal, allowing new quotes etc.  I wouldn't know if I didn't come on here

If you go to the front page of the website ,there is an announcement on there. If you try to get a quote, it fails before you get to the end of the process.

It's now Monday morning and no indication of the SOLR for Neon Reef customers. Has anyone heard anything?

I've heard that NR are ceasing to trade, but have not received any email.

Perhaps the poster who got the email from NR has some more news?

Keep an eye on the Ofgem news release page or their Twitter as they'll announce when the SoLR is appointed

Well, this is the longest that it has taken to appoint a SOLR so far.  They must be having a little trouble getting someone to take everything over.

Neon Reef must be the poison chalice. Ofgem usually like to announce these things late afternoon, so they can go home before the excrement hits the extractor, and spoil everyone’s evening. Allegedly.

I tried to make a manual payment on Friday and was returned the same day. I double checked bank account no. and sort code and my ref number. Perhaps the their account has now been frozen.

To be honest, all the candidates seem to be as bad as each other. I’ve only experience of Scottish Power and latterly Shell, but looking at the titles of other threads on this board, and some detail, none of them seem to be covering themselves in glory.
