Morning all,
Anxiety riddled night so I feel like a wrung out dishcloth this morning. Have already dropped two things so must be tired. Thanks for well wishes re car - I have everything crossed. My kitchen stinks of sewage, I could cry (in fact I have). Need to get my backside in gear, be brave and get this sorted.
hugs all round x8 -

Skulking back in.....so much for me keeping pace with Fred. The black dog has taken up residence again with me at the Skint Pit and I seem to be flinging cocktail sticks in his direction with no real success to speak of.
So I have been flying off piste again. No point reviewing main list, so I will just think hard about what has happened so far since Monday:
12 hours dodging raindrops at outdoor lockup over 3 days.
3 vegetable crates of recycling gone to do its green thing.
3 separate crates of cash raising recycling sorted into revenue scheme for young Skints school ready for when they open their collection points again.
De-gibbled 3 wicker baskets in LR
Completely cleared hot-spot in DR and put decorative bits in its spot to stop more gibble from doing an emergency landing.
Decluttered remnants in coffee jars and decanted 5 more spice packets into vacant jars and put in new home.
Fruit bowl given a good wash and only edible stuff put back.
WUDUPA back to zero everyday at least once a day by bedtime.
Kitchen and bathroom s&s
High traffic areas upstairs tangoed with Mr Sh@rk.
Daily tango with Mr Sh@rk downstairs
Downstairs windowsills and skirting wiped.
Wall marks removed with Magic Er@ser.
Cat toilets and glass , paper and rubbish bins scrubbed
Dining table and chairs cleaned.
Hallway hotspot de-gibbled
Paid some outstanding Williams that were a tiny bit late
Left a message for plasterer to get back to me about repairing damage to LR wall and rang painter to book ahead it to finish it off.
Got reward chart written up for young Skints complete with blu t@ck 20p coins per chore and a bonus £5 flapping at them for a complete chart. They have to send me photographic evidence of completion, then they can pluck their 20p off the chart for their money box. Their rooms and console stations have never been so clean :-)
Rain expected after lunch, so made good use of WAC, 4 X WM on the line. Loads 5 and 6 doing their thing in WM as I type.
Just had a jacket potato as it feels like lunchtime to me and ready for a quick nap......I will be back later to try and keep the momentum going.
Hugs sticks and spoons for everyone in need xxx

Morning all,
Hugs to all the tired and anxious flyladies x
Big virtual hug to Ionafan - you are such a special lady, I am sure that, even though it is disappointing now, your new role will be even brighter and as fulfilling than before x
Skinty - you have achieved absolutely loads!
Back to job 2 today. I was hoping that I could give this job up in the near future, but it seems that is not to be at the moment. Never mind, it isn’t unpleasant, just needs way more hours than they will pay me for, and it is literally a 2 minute walk, so could be much worse. So far, I have emptied the dw, stripped and remade the bed and put bedding in wm. I traded the ironing for an extra 15 minutes in bed, as for once I managed to avoid the WAC, although I had some weird dreams.
Time to get off, catch you all later. Have a lovely day all x7 -
Morning all
bathroom cleaned yesterday, recycling bins put out. Resisted temptation to water 💦 and the sky is doing it for me. I have towels to peg out but that will be later if it brightens up. I shall get them out and fold them. Ironing to catch up on ad DW, which is the one I ordered, to be emptied.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning lovelies! Cool and bright here today - Tom, our lovely groundsman (and owner of one of my daycare dogs) is here with a digger, uprooting saplings to replant, rebuilding part of a dismantled bund, levelling the back lawn and sinking the drainage for the static caravan in the paddock, so it's all go here. My friend's hubby (a talented carpenter) is coming over later to fit the new stable door he made for us this weekend. I've managed to prime all the wood with some special turquoise coloured watery impregnating liquid, so I've at least got it protected a bit if it rains before I can get to undercoat and paint it. Now just have to decide on a colour - I said "what about pink?" to DH. He looked horrified
I think I might opt for a mid grey/blue, but not 100% sure yet.
I received in the post some succulent clippings from the wonderful Ionafan this morning! THANK YOU! I'm so excited and very grateful and have been researching how best to get them propagated. I'll be ordering cactus and succulent compost when I have my cuppa in a few minutes, plus looking at some hanging pots ready for when (if) I can get them to grow roots. My dining room is so very nearly finished and these finishing touches will make it perfect!
I haven't checked which room is on the list today, as I'm not sure I'll make it out of the kitchen before at least lunchtime...how does one room get trashed so quickly!?
Hugs to you ASB - anxiety sucks. Hope the drains can be sorted. Sounds like there might be a blockage or broken pipe further down the line. Stinky smells can make life miserable.
I'm still in a Tigger mood for which I apologise...I'm having a virtual glitter day (the Corona Virus analogy made me smile - great teaching aid) so off to take Lemon balm clippings for drying and I might even gave a go at taking a cutting to root a new plant....ooh, go me! You watch....it will die...

Hello all. Second day of no flying here as the paid stuff has been so busy. Did manage to fit in some council paperwork so that's a frog gone.Spend less now, work less later.7

Glad the packet arrived safely, Dizzy. Don't worry about ignoring succulents for most of the time - they survive on very little TLC in this house, and they really don't require much watering
It has taken my Donkey's Tail about 7 years to grow two feet in length, but the advantage is that every time a leafy bit falls off, it will make another plant.
I have completed most of my list and managed to make several phonecalls., though quite a lot of people appear to have been out taking their daily exercise when i rang.
My Cypriot friend (who lives locally to me) has a vine growing in her garden, and the leaves are now just right for picking, so she has made Dolmades and given us some. We had a bit of roast lamb left over from Sunday lunch and aubergine, red onion, red pepper and courgette in the fridge, so with the addition of some lazy garlic , lots of herbs and a can of chopped tomatoes I am making a lamb stew as well. With rice or new potatoes, that should easily stretch to two days. Following Valli's old mantra

Good afternoon!
I am such a bad flylady! 😕🤣 I don't seem to be able to crack on with anything much. I flit about and don't seem to achieve much.
After about an hour and a half at the allotment yesterday I came home for lunch. Not much else was done, except a webinar last night.
Today I got up late, I have put on the WM but it is now raining. I have also WULTD, put dinner on for later and cleaned out the bottom of the pantry because a potato had gone bad 🤢
I may try to do some gardening if it is not too wet. I also have a pile of post to deal with (magazines & junk mainly - I should deal with it straight away instead of letting it pile up 😭) DD2 is home today watching carp on the tv, which doesn't help.
I didnt sleep well last night. My car alarm kept going off. It started at about 8.30pm. I have to park on the street, but luckily it was right outside the house. Last weekend it was in the next street, which would have been a pain for the people living there! I ended up locking once, so I don't think the alarm was activated. It was either that or I was going to have to sleep in it 🤦♀️ I have activated the alarm this morning, but so far it has been okay. I am stumped!
Ok - lunch has been eaten, I am going to hang out the washing & maybe do some weeding, as the sun is out again now. Have a good day everyone8
