Mudbath I was only thinking of you earlier! I hope your finger is well and truly on the mend now. Sounds painful!
Little one is asleep, and I am catching up on some 'work' reading, and going to make a cuppa in a mo. I will WULTD & wipe the kitchen down while I am there.11 -
I am so very tired.. I can't see much being accomplished today I am so tired I can feel the eyebags dragging my face off... I can't remember the last time I was this level of exhausted.. I had a severe case of fidgetty legs last night.. They would not shut down when the rest of me was in a state of collapse. They ended up being yelled at and punched.. that actually worked so I could sleep.
Fayolle.. that is rubbish re the job.. hopefully a replacement can be found soon.. I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of people in that situation sadly. OH is back tomorrow and none of us are happy about it.. including his boss!
I really need to move.. My bedroom is a bear pit and I have washing piled to the heavens and 3 baskets of unpaired socks!
Cello lesson for Squeak in 5 minutes.

Little sewing project finished so going to knit something for next project. Hand soap dispensers refilled. I am running out of supplies and my hands are sore, but probably not as sore as Mudbath.Spend less now, work less later.11

I've lost the will to live trying to create a mandala from foraged and found items from our dog walk today with Tiny. He has exactly zero artistic skills, little to no patience, a scary desire to literally lop everything in half with scissors and less than a splash of concentration....sigh....all I wanted was a child who loved to glitter and create things and sadly neither of mine will ever progress past stick men..
He did perform much better this morning when we made a short video about the goats and their"habitat" (our paddock) and was, in-fact most amusing, as he morphed into a miniature David Attenborough
So, my creative frustration will now be taken out on priming the new stable door...with a cuppa and my headphones. Laters peeps x10 -
I dusted the hallway then took the dogs to the field for a runaround, then took the car for a drive to keep it moving. I've only filled up once with petrol since March. Just having a cuppa then I'll prep tea and have a soak in the bath.Spend less now, work less later.10

Car serviced and taxed. Bank balance unfortunately now much lighter.
Bathroom cleaned and ensuite s&s.
Dinner cooked, kitchen tidied, and WULTD.
2nd load of washing hanging up, and tomorrow’s load in the wm waiting.
Oh, and went to the nearest fabric shop with DD to buy her some dressmaking supplies, as I had promised I would take her. Somehow 2 lengths of material for me also came home with us 😳. I really have to finish the already started projects.
Ouch, mudbath, that sounds painful.
ASB, I hope today went ok at work x
Sorry if I have missed something - I seem to have a delay in getting the forum to update atm. Hugs all round as wanted or needed.

I have already told them once.............if the previous occupant had a debt it will be set up to clear their debt so you get less fuel for your money.. we had it when we moved here and it was a week or so until we got it removed.. it was a nightmare.. i don't know how people manage dashing about topping it up.. it is a very outdated procedure. Did you take readings when you moved in?LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)10

Goodintentions said:Narc0 - thank you. You have inspired me to have a go at doing 5k again! I was doing it regularly before lockdown - at least once a week - so I can do it again. DD2 asked for a lift to work tomorrow morning, so I may do that and then go for a run, as it shouldn't be too hot. I am not fast either!
We both woke up having had a very disturbed night; owing to the high winds yesterday we'd been painting the bedroom without the windows open; it was oil-based paint and we felt as if we had hangovers (I don't drink!); Mr N said he'd felt as if he was on a bad trip all night (I wouldn't know). However today the weather was calmer although some showers so we had the windows wide open, luckily the room has windows at both ends. Have gradually started moving things back into their places. My new storage thing arrives tomorrow. I spent some time sorting out old make-up...........as I only wear lipstick about 3 times a year, what use are 12 to me? I hate waste, but there is now a lot of make-up decluttered. Filled the bathroom sink with old hair mousse.
- set up the new phones. So that was the culprit of our lack of caller ID; despite the old phones displaying it, they seemingly couldn't liaise with the new technology of the internet connection. Now not only do we have caller display, it also announces "Fred is calling, Fred is calling" .........
- ordered yet more bird food as there was 10% off suet products plus cashback.
- Milkman delivered 2 more grow bags so now all melon and tomato plants have proper homes.
- weeded pea plants which are semi-productive after their pigeon and slug attack. It's been a lot of work for what will be a few peas!
- checked bank statements, set up professional payment due this month.
- did a few items on admin task list.
- went for a run.
- culled another 100 or so emails.
- did a bit of online course.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11
