Im just waiting for local searches and 2 outstanding queries. One relating to parking space and one re use of roof terrace. Neither of them major .
Solicitor said she was waiting for local searches so i gave the council a call yesterday who told me they were sent back to solicitors agency on Thursday. So solicitor has chased for those.
So almost ready to exchange. Have started packing and giving a months notice on my rented flat0 -
Hi everyone!
Our mortgage application was submitted on Thursday , they asked for a copy of my P60 and I was advised they'd instructed the valuation .. does that sound right? ... what's everyones experience with KR? has anyone actually been declined?

They are very through in asking for documentation. The P60 won't be the last of it. Have you had AIP yet?Bsturz1 said:Hi everyone!

Yeah we got that about 2 weeks ago then had to wait for a appointment with our MA who ran another AIP just before he submitted our applicationThey are very through in asking for documentation. The P60 won't be the last of it. Have you had AIP yet?0 -
If it helps to reassure, they do all their underwriting manually instead of based on what computer says. My MA was brilliant and from reading posts on here, a broker will only place you with the lenders likely to accept.Bsturz1 said:

Hi all,
This is a brilliant thread thank you all so much.
I have a couple of questions if you could help that'll be great. We had submitted our application 11th December after getting out AIP with Kent and are still waiting to here back. We have provided them with all paperwork including P60's and also answered some additional questions they had.
Does anyone know what the average turnaround is for Kent? Also when the mortgage offer comes through did you get it emailed to you or does your mortgage advisor let you know?Any information would be great as we want to beat the stamp duty deadline0 -
According to https://www.kentrelianceforintermediaries.co.uk the average turnaround currently is 5 working days. When did your broker submit your latest information?pieface201288 said:Hi all,

Your broker will tell you of the offer by phone or via email. You'll then get the mortgage offer in the post a few days after that; it gets sent to you and your solicitor simultaneously.
Have you instructed solicitors and commenced local searches? That will be the thing that holds you up for SD deadline. Are you buying a new build (i.e vacant) property or is it part of a chain?0
