Kent reliance

We originally had a mortgage in the pipeline but then covid struck. Applied with another-got declined after nearly 4weeks, applied with kent reliance yesterday, initial underwriting was done this morning and valuation instructed. Now the quickness of this has me worried!! 🤣 Should I be concerned? Is valuation usually instructed when they are confident they will lend to you or do kent do a different thing?!

Just thought I would update this as I found very little about kent reliance when i was looking.
22/6 Applied for dip, got referred.
23/6 dip agreed, full application submitted, additional documents submitted.
24/6 Initial underwriting complete and valuation instructed.
1/7 valuation carried out
2/7 mortgage offered.

Thank you for this! I put an application in to Kent Reilance on the 23/7 and had our valuation done before the application went in, so fingers crossed we hear soon! I cant find anything else about them anywhere

I got a decision in principle from Kent Reliance yesterday. Going to look at the house we’re interested in again on Saturday and will hopefully do a full mortgage application next week 🤞. Do you know if Kent Reliance do a soft or hard credit search at DIP stage?, I can’t remember what my mortgage broker said yesterday!! So many different conversations going on 🤯

Hi, sorry we finally moved on Thursday so all been a bit hectic!! It was a soft search but ours got referred to an underwriter for it. Good luck!
