How long did they take to get back to you once you had submitted ? Can I ask what kind of query’s would the underwriter ask?

Hi I am current going through the process with Kent reliance. 

We have had our valuation which came back fine and now it’s back with the underwriter. 

My partner had defaulted payments with a hire purchase agreement from 2016-2019
the account is now settled and closed and all paid up over 12 months ago, but the underwriter is asking to see a list all payments made to the account, and as they was all late payments I’m concerned it will have a negative effect on giving us a offer. 

Has anyone else has this experience?

@ash13445 They want to see all the payments made to the hire purchase? How do you even get that I formation ...

@louisedaisy133 I called the company the hire purchase agreement was with and they are sending me a payment statement of all payment that was made on the account and when. 

Alternatively your can give them 12 months bank statements showing the direct debit of payment.

@louisedaisy133 I submitted my application on the 18/8/20 
valuation was 28/08/20 

and the underwriter got back to me for further documentation on 9/09/20
