Thanks Rach,
can't seem to quote you as I've not been a member long and it says I can't quote links?!Our latest information was submitted Monday. We are buying a new build and have all our searches back apart from the local authority search. That's good to know about how the offer comes through. That's different to how I got a previous offer with Natwest as they emailed me first and then our mortgage advisor got a copy.Suppose they all work differently0 -

I complete tomorrow! Can’t believe it. Just paid my deposit and legal fees. It’s gone so quickly! I know my experience probably isn’t reflective of the situation for everybody...but mine has been so smooth and wonderful, given the circumstances. Thanks for everybody’s support on this thread and I wish you all the very best 🥰2

This is a brilliant thread thank you all so much.
I have a couple of questions if you could help that'll be great. We had submitted our application 11th December after getting out AIP with Kent and are still waiting to here back. We have provided them with all paperwork including P60's and also answered some additional questions they had.
Does anyone know what the average turnaround is for Kent? Also when the mortgage offer comes through did you get it emailed to you or does your mortgage advisor let you know?Any information would be great as we want to beat the stamp duty deadline
It would have been 11th January for offer but our file was pulled for a random audit.
Hope you hear soon.0 -
Hi
My mortgage application was submitted today and valuation fees paid. How long are people currently waiting for an offer?
Thanks 😊0 -

Thanks 😊I submitted on 17th of December, valuation was conducted on the 12th of January and got full offer on the 23rd of January and exchanged on the 23rd and completed on the 29th of January.
I cannot even begin to explain how slick my process was and I am very fortunate really. But it’s by no means the same for everyone unfortunately 🙁1 -
Got our mortgage offer on Friday. The delay with ours was our mortgage advisor told us our solictors was on their approved panel. Turns out they were but not on their shared ownership panel. I changed solictors very quickly and as all of our searches has come back all documentation was transferred to our new solicitors. Woohoo1

Hey all,
Our mortgage application went in on the 3rd December. We had some delays with the valuation being booked however this is being completed today finally, yay!
How long does it roughly take after the valuation being completed, to getting an offer?
Very stressful few months, just hoping for an offer soon! X0 -
