I think now completion is as fast as your solicitor is! They apparently start to prioritise you once you're at ready-to-exchange stage..
Mine ignored me when I asked about searches validity early Dec... now very responsive as we're all waiting for him to catch up
- not in a rush though, so it's fine!

We got our offer on the 4th Jan and we are completing on Thursday next week, we had to put alot of pressure in the solicitors though or it could have easily been another week or more .1

I've been a bit more chill with mine due to rental timings etc. But I paid my deposit today! Terrifying! I've asked them for a completion date of 26th Feb, hoping they'll agree to that as I can't really move any sooner!1

Hey guys! I got my mortgage offer today and I have already exchanged (it’s a new build so 28 day exchange deadline). I legally complete next Friday. I cannot believe it.2

My solicitor yesterday said she doubts that it will complete before the end of March! I really thought within 4 weeks I would move. I will keep pushing now luckily my estate agents are amazing and they email / call both solicitors asking for updates. It’s been a long process x0
