Our timeline is:rachlikeswinter said:
From my (limited) knowledge / anecdotal evidence on this thread, no-one has been declined at that late a stage. But there may well have been lurkers / one posters who got declined and never came back. But I would say that if you get a DIP, it's likely you'll get an offer, they're just REALLY thorough! Most people who are posting in here seem to come along, get super anxious, get their offer and be thrilled haha.Rachielovescats said:
Good Question! I’ve been wondering this myself!! I’ve had my final documents uploaded now. Surely they’d have declined by now if they were going to...Sotts said:
Has anyone got to this stage only to have mortgage offer declined?csumm4 said:@Sotts KR normally review any new documents within 5 working days but at the moment this is 10. Our MB uploaded our last documents (updated memorandum of sale) on 11th December and it still hasnt been reviewed yet. Once it has we should be at the offer stage. We have chased alot but to no avail
Congrats! A Christmas miracle! Can you post your timeline for reference please xSR100 said:We’ve just had our offer emailed through!!! Just in time as our broker shuts at 1pm today! Good luck to everyone waiting, I’m sure it won’t be too long now!!

Just a word of warning so people can get ahead if the game, under writer just requested another months pay slips and bank statements due to there being such a delay at the moment which we gave just provided. You could get ahead of the game and ask your brokers tk submit this should another month have lapsed0

Ugh !!!!!!. My application has taken so long that the statements they have from me are for July - September! So they'll definitely request more off me. I actually asked me broker this exact question a few weeks ago and he told me he thought it would be really unlikely if they did this! Sigh.csumm4 said:Just a word of warning so people can get ahead if the game, under writer just requested another months pay slips and bank statements due to there being such a delay at the moment which we gave just provided. @rachlikeswinter I would send more statements and pay slips to your broker and ask him to upload them. They had up to end if October for us and just asked for novembers1

Due to my broker being on holiday I have been dealing with KR direct myself for the past few days, last email from the broker support team said they are now closed from 23rd December until 4th January so it looks as though all developments for everyone will be on hold until then I'm afraid1

Thanks @K_S
Out of curiosity - what's your longest active case right now (with any lender) as a broker? Mine's been going 3 months so far...0 -
@rachlikeswinter If you're asking about the case that's taking longest to go from app to offer, it's about 4 months for me at present. But that's down to the particular self-employed client insisting on the "best rate" theoretically available in the market and ignoring my disclaimers as to it being a 50/50 chance and recommending a more suitable alternative lender who would cost a bit more. The mainstream lender keeps asking more questions and for more documents and it keeps getting put in a queue that takes another couple of weeks to be looked at. Unfortunate, but what can you do.
