Has anyone had or known a valuation to be carried out and then declined offer ( not due to valuation ) just wondering if this happens.

If they don't like the property for whatever reason then they revise the price or decline the mortgage of course.

Yep as any valuation would, I am just wondering if Kent’s valuation process is normally final stage? As a lot of companies do it very early on??

Yes I beleieve it is! I think it depends on when you have it booked and there are no more docs to check over , but for my personal circumstances it's certainly the final stage.

Hey guys and girls, our valuation was done 16th October, we submitted application on 6th October, they asked for a couple more docs off us on the 21st and not heard anything since. 

MB said we should have case reviewed and update by close of play on Monday 9th. Really hope we do as this is really stressing me out just want to know everything is ok with our application. Don’t get any reassurance from MB whatsoever xx

I called MB Friday she was out the office. Spoke to colleague who said she would chase this week and let me know so I emailed MB yesterday so just said no news I’ll let you know when I do, so I asked when she would be chasing as it was two weeks ago we sent docs she then came back saying she’d spoke to lender and our case would be reviewed by end of play on Monday 9th it’s been such a long wait! Seems a lot are waiting for update on Monday? Xxx

What documents did they require from you? Seems a really long process yes x

Hey i wouldn't worry as we sent additional docs on 15th October, bank statements, and only had a response from the lender yesterday querying some transactions. We did have a valuation done in between though so I don't know if that's what took so long but it seems like reviewing additional documents does take a little longer than the 6 working days they have on their website. Hang in there
