Congratulations on your offer 🥳 Our MB said we will have an update today, so I’m going to hand tight until she calls 🤞🏼 Our valuation is on Wednesday so I’m looking forward to that being done. Hope you’re all ok and your applications are going ok too. I know it’s a stressful wait, but we’re all nearly at the finish line 😊

Not much to report except that my valuation should be happening today, it's a new build so I don't foresee any issues. Broker thinks my latest requested docs should be looked at on Monday. Have a good weekend everyone!

News from me: KR happy with valuation, I've now gone into the mortgage offer queue which takes up to 6 working days.

That’s brilliant news :-) so you should definitely get it then! Can I ask if your broker has given you this up date off their own back? I don’t know anything about the status of our case and it’s so frustrating! X

Hey @dannik - I was due an update from the Broker today, and so yes they did do it off their own back.  Generally they tell me that it'll be 6 working days due to KR's workload, so after 4, they will chase them up and usually get some sort of answer.  Hope that helps!

Yes I did - my broker downloaded the form and asked me to complete it on the day of application and submit it with all the original documents from the get go. As he knew they'd need it eventually. KR then came back about 2 weeks ago and asked for copies of my parent's passports (that's who the gift is from) among other things and should be reviewing on Monday, apparently. That's the only time they've asked for extra docs, so far.

Hi all - despite what I said earlier about being put into the mortgage queue today and having to wait 6 working days, KR contacted my broker within the hour to give us our full offer! 🙌🙌 We were prepared for a week wait, let alone an hour.  So we are very happy.
