Submitted on 8th Oct and nothing since... staying positive !! Keep thinking if was a problem or declined surely would know by now....

Submitted on 8th Oct and nothing since... staying positive !! Keep thinking if was a problem or declined surely would know by now....

Do you have a MB? We applied on the 20th, they got back to us the week after to tell us a valuation had been booked in and they were happy with documents (they only queried one transaction on our bank statement) but other than that, we haven’t really heard anything too. I think no news is good news 🙏🏼 hoping you will have an update soon. 🤞🏼

I think my main worry is my mortgage failed with previous lender on affordability right at the last minute 😩😩 everything else was fine so I’ve had to get a new lender (Kent) quickly as the person I’m buying from is ready to move so it’s all a massive panic! Valuation was done Wednesday and now is apparently with underwriters pending valuation approval 😩 direct debit mandate form was last thing to go back so now just praying

Where did you fail last? The lender decided at the last minute that it's not affordable after application?

Our MB did an affordability first because it would be pointless to apply and not afford it. That’s strange they failed you last minute on affordability. We have our valuation on Wednesday - so I’m hoping we will be closer to hearing if we have an offer. The wait is soooo stressful 🥺
