Just out of curiosity do you all know how long your mortgage in principle took? Their website says 2 working days but mine took around a week, just wondering if that happened to anyone else?

I would like to know this too! Our valuation was done 16th October. Theyve had additional docs and questions answered for a couple of weeks and not heard anything, not sure if it’s in the mortgage offer queue or if we will be required to answer more questions and provide even more docs? MB said we should know more after tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I’ve heard after valuation done it’s pretty set in stone you will get an offer, unless you are buying a house that’s falling apart x

What sort of things did they ask for after your valuation hun? X

They wanted to know who we pay our rent too, about my child maintenance, universal credit (received a couple of payment during the COVID lockdown as I’m a self employed beauty therapist) basically querying the amounts and dates received.
also asked for another copy of one of my partners SA302 because it didn’t have the HMRC’s website on the page like the others did, they also asked for 3 of my bank statements but I’d already provided these but just sent them again. So I’m not sure what else they will ask for. Or if we are just waiting for the offer or decline?! X
