Could someone please tell me if Kent Reliance have contacted your employer during your application to confirm your employment details? Or have bank statements, payslips, P60s been all they ask for? Thank you x0

Had the valuation done today. KR requested memorandum of sale which was sent over Monday. They haven’t asked for anything else. Is this usually the final stage? Hope you’re all hanging in there ok.0

We've hit the 3 week mark on Wednesday just gone. Hopefully hear something next week. Solicitor lead times are quite worrying though - 8-12 weeks seems the average but just hoping New Builds are less complicated. Keep sane everyone!0

Hello everyone. After hearing the news with the new lockdown, we’re a little worried this may affect our mortgage offer? I just want to know if anyone else is worried too - and people’s opinions if they think mortgages will freeze while we go through another lockdown?1

@happyday20 Hi, you're not alone with the worries. The last time this happened they stopped accepting new applications but those in process were ok. The other issue during the first lockdown was because physical valuations could not go ahead but this time, you are allowed to attend work if you cannot work from home. The biggest issue right now is whether house prices will tumble which will have the biggest impact. Fingers crossed

Don't worry guys, I think it'll be absolutely fine. Like mentioned above, new applications may be an issue now but the members of staff at KR were probably already working from home! Same for solicitors...etc.1
