Thanks!! I keep telling myself no news is good news 😎
That is true actually. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes from exchange to completion?
  • I've seen properties complete and exchange on the same day before in my old job! But it also depends on when both sides wish to, I think usually a day or two apart is the norm from my experience.

Mortgage offer came through today  :D
    Application submitted 23 September
    Valuation 02 October
    Mortgage offer 27 September
    Good luck guys!!!!
Was yours quite an easy process? Did they ask for a lot of additional information?
No they didn't ask for anything. My MA was very good. He made sure all docs were available to prevent KR from asking for more. So overall, easy process except for the massive delay between valuation and offer.

Hi everyone! I’m a newbie :-) I have been keeping an eye on this thread as we applied for our mortgage through KR on 6th October. Our valuation was carried out on 16th October. We we were asked for additional docs And submitted on 21st October. We are purchasing a new build on shared ownership. The waiting is eating me up inside, I really hope we all get some good news soon!! X
  • Still nothing :( submitted the extra docs they asked for a week ago, my MA today said KR said there should be an update by COP tomorrow. Valuation has been instructed but not booked in. I applied on the 8th Oct and all this waiting is killing me. Getting worried now :(

I share your fears!! I’m hoping I hear something by the end of the week. You only applied 2 days after me so we were quite close aren’t we? Let us know if you get an update tomorrow
  • Guys honestly don't worry about it.  They're just being slow at the moment and are struggling with the workload! All it means is we have to wait a bit longer, but we're all in the final stages now so I'm confident for all of us! (Unless you're buy a rotten barn in the middle of a swamp haha!)

Oh fab, that must have been a relief. Has the valuation been carried out and did they ask for additional documents? Keeping everything crossed for some news very soon for you too!
