It might be news to you, but your suggestion from Laptops Direct is also second-hand and has an inferior CPU. In which way is your suggestion better?jonnygee2 said:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dell-9020-SFF-i5-44690-8GB-RAM-256-SSD-4-/373073079582 is a cheaper option. It's second hand and doesn't have an OS installed. Not exactly what the OP has asked for.
Also laptopsdirect is a good store, which is worth something.
In fact I wasn't recommending it anyway. It was just a cheaper option for your suggestion.0 -

The choice is yours! 🤣1

First we've heard of your "office" needs. What do you use in "office"?Biil said:but I only realised that windows doesn't come with office 😂.1 -

Wow woke up on the wrong side of bed? It doesn't have an OS installed, I think the OP wanted something with Windows 10 pre-installed. And refurbished is better than straight up second hand for someone who is reluctant to fix things or deal with returns, because someone has checked it all works.

What a nonsensical post. First the baseless accusation and then the frankly ridiculous " refurbished is better than straight up second hand..."
First of all they are both refurbished. Perhaps you can explain why in your mind one is refurbished and the other is second hand. I am betting that either you cannot or you will try to deflect with an attempt at some childish insult. Because your inferior spec costs £100 more? That makes it refurbished as opposed to second hand?
OS licence, if needed, costs a couple of quid.

I think maybe you are taking a discussion about some laptops a little too seriously?

Like, you got a random laptop charger with your desktop? If so, that is strange but probably not needed!
And some things do come with a two pin but yes, better to but it to one side unless you need it.0 -
Actually just looked on back of my tower 😳 it doesn't take a normal power plug , it seems I plug it into adapter then the jack/pin side goes in desktop 🤨 erm first time I seen this 😳 do desktop do this knowjonnygee2 said:Like, you got a random laptop charger with your desktop? As expected. You start up a furore because I simply posted a cheaper option to something you suggested and now you are pretending that it wasn't you who started the argument in the first place.jonnygee2 said:I am betting that either you cannot or you will try to deflect with an attempt at some childish insult.I think maybe you are taking a discussion about some laptops a little too seriously?
Now you are writing about "some laptops" when clearly we have been discussing Desktops.
Methinks you are somewhat confused.
