so you order online and then wait for the text to say it's ready and then go and collect it.
This means there is no queue of half wits, loony tunes, !!!!!! and time wasters at the counter as there usually is during daylight hours.
Straight in my order number is, my surname is, 30 seconds later you are out with your order
Long may it last!
The other best thing that with the advent of near 100% card/contactless payment from retailers my local newspaper has ceased running the near monthly moan article about how local cash machines are closing down and how on earth will we manage without the ability to get out our cash.1 -
What I found particularly amazing about Toolstation is that they sell some really random things I wouldn't have expected. Needed a fairly obscure connection between a monitor and a pc, found it there, was able to order and pick it up on my way home: no delivery costs. Will definitely keep using them!Signature removed for peace of mind3

My 75 year old dad has learned to text!!! He needs to text to get into his local pub (part of their track and trace as he can't do the app thing on his phone) he then receives a text back and they let him in. One of the lovely members of staff taught him how to text - he then sat in the pub waiting for his food and sent me a text to let me know he could, bless him!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"9

Taking more time out in nature.
Appreciating time with friends more.
I've also started using reusable nappies and they're just brilliant. It feels nice to be helping the environment and they've done wonders for my baby's nappy rash.3 -

I have been able to spend a LOT of time working on my finances and monthly budgets. I've made a few great spreadsheets and have been able to save so much more money due to not having to fill up the car with petrol.
