Hi there, Apologies I have read many threads and got myself confused. If I should not be starting a new thread apologies.
I just got a letter with the title "Letter of Claim" from dCB legal for parking fines on private car parks in shopping centres from 2 and 3 years ago totalling £665. They also send PCN numbers. it's hard remember however my wife with a brand new baby had started driving at that time and probably overstayed the two hours in LlDL is the main cause - she most likely coudlnt read the signs busy with a new born. Hard remember all the details at this stage. Any advice on best steps? I don't want to spend days and days figuring this out and at the same time don't want to miss a trick. I'm not sure how bad having a CCJ against me is if I ignore?
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

a CCJ is definitely bad for you or her, so avoid itpost 4 of the newbies thread deals with ignoring debt collector lettersif however its an LBC with 30 days notice and financial forms , post 2 deals with those issueswhoever is receiving the letters should email a SAR to the DPO at the parking company and obtain their data, to be ready for any court claim in the futurethat same person should email the CEO of LIDL and complain and insist on a cancellion of all outstanding pcn,s , as a loyal customer2

please how do I find post 2? yes it is a letter of claim 30 days to reply1

I'm not sure how bad having a CCJ against me is if I ignore? It can potentially ruin your life for 6 years - (re)mortgage, credit, loans, broadband contracts, mobile phone contracts, even employment posts/opportunities. If absolutely none of those matter one jot, then ignore. But there again, could you cope with possible visits of bailiffs to remove items to the value of ....? Depends much you treasure your 75" Samsung, your Beamer on the drive or your PlayStation4? £665 is enough to go to the High Court for enforcement action if they get a judgment in default. Then what you see in 'Can't Pay, We'll Take it Away' comes into play. You must defend this absolutely. The NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post, takes you through the entire court process, so do some research work there. But you also need to determine exactly how many PCNs, to which locations they relate, and are they all issued by HighView? HV are not a normal Lidl agent (that's, in 95% of cases, Athena).More information required please. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I'm gonna need your help for court please! You arent if you complain to the firm (Savills or other agent?) who run the retail park.
Why do poeple not just do this as soon as a PCN arrives? Google the retail park (not the shops). Such a simple way to cancel these.
NO saying who was driving in any reply or complaint.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
