I've tried calling it, and it works.
For emails, set up a separate throw away account such as gmail just for parking issues.1 -
SOME GOOD NEWS!! Weare Mapp have written and cancelled one of the tickets - from Catford Island park. Now three to go from the other park where I haven't yet gotten a response from that management team. Anyway getting there and to all the folks here...Thank you. Simply thank you.
"Further to your email of earlier today, I confirm I have arranged with Group Nexus to cancel the parking fine you received. This has clearly caused you upset and distress during a very difficult time, therefore I do hope this has gone some way to appease the situation. We hope you continue to enjoy shopping at Catford Island."6 -
Brilliant! We will have to remember this re Highview at Catford Island park.
Why not forward a copy of what Weare Mapp sent, and say to the other agents of the other car park:
''See below - the same problem was seamlessly resolved by one agent, about Catford Island park. Are you able to be as accommodating please, because whilst I am well aware that Highview can't hold me liable, this is appalling harassment. Were you aware that Highview, your agents, don't comply with the POFA 2012 (the only to hold registered keepers liable) and would be beatable in court? I would prefer to avoid that level of anxiety and time/cost for my family, of course, and not be left with a nasty taste in my mouth about how driver(s) of my car have been harassed for being a genuine patron of your retail car park. Why should registered keeper be inflicted with this harassment by your agents at any time, but especially this year? I am aware that Highview are your agents and you can cancel these charges whenever you wish, when it's pre-court (as this is). Please step in and restore my faith in xxxx retail park in the future.''PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We have been instructed by our Client to stop any legal proceedings against you after receiving your response to the recent Letter of Claim sent to you.
This matter has now been closed on our systems and no further action will be taken."
So in short without this forum I'd still be in bother and stress - the turning point was going to the owners - who probably took pity on me in Covid times - however also asking for the information in a professional manner.

Classic case of Plan A working yet again !!!1 -
Well done, you beat the scam. It is a must to go to the owners of the site,
bet Weare Mapp have explained the facts of life to Highview. This cost Highview and DCBL ... MONEY ?
In Covid times, who gives a monkeys toss

Very good news!
And an example to show the other people with DCBL / Highview threats. Are you able to send me please, by private message, a screenshot of the email from Weare Mapp and a screenshot of the email from DCBLegal (with your name and email redacted to protect your ID)?
The reason is, I've promised to help some other Highview victims and I'd like to use these two emails to show Tesco how easy it would be for them to tell Highview to do one, if they care about customers.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
