If the principal can't find evidence of the PCN, how can they engage a solicitor to commence legal proceedings? What's their basis for doing so - their imaginary friend told them? 🙄

These PPCs get more banal each day.

I haven’t received a response from the parking firm since I demanded they respond to my SAR. Any words of advice or instruction on what to do next?

I have already sent an email to the solicitors, advising that I have sent the parking firm an SAR

All they need is a copy of your V5C or redacted copies of two utility bills (to service a SAR). Report them to ICO.

Edit: good point below by C-m about using a copy of their own letters. 😁

Definitely refuse and tell them they will be reported to the ICO for demanding excessive identifying data that has far too much personal information on it.  You only needed to show them your V5C if you still own the car, or a Utility Bill and copy of their letters(s) if you don't still own the car.

Thanks both! I will refuse and then report them to the ICO as per the above post by CM. Should I still send a V5C in the same email or hold off for now?
