Really need to take action to deal with my finances again.
Its fair to say many things have gone pear shaped and being ultra careful over finances and diet has not been my priority.
  • Sorry to hear things have been difficult for you Frith. Cheering you on from the sidelines, you have done so well with your savings and you work so hard for your boys, hope things settle down and get better for you soon.

Hi Frith, I'm sorry to hear things are difficult just now and I'm also sorry to hear about your Aunt.  My fingers are crossed that your son will be able to get back to his education soon and I'm glad your other son is enjoying his apprenticeship.  Your mortgage balance is dropping nicely, along with your weight, by the looks of things.  Indi x

Hi Frith, I've just popped by and read your diary.  You are amazing and have done so well in all areas of your life.  You are so close to being mortgage free, and your weight loss is fab - wish my weight was going in that direction.  Keep going :)

    Thank you, all.

Had a better day today. Cleaned the hens’ sleeping quarters out, got various jobs done and got back to the charity shops! Also wrote my bit of my aunty’s eulogy (we’re all doing a few paragraphs).

We had a strange weekend including son 1 saying he won’t go round to his father’s again. This should go unnoticed, now he lives onsite at his apprenticeship. Son2 has not seen his father for 3.5 years.

Will start the Blood Sugar Diet again from next Monday. Made too much pastry today so we had jam tarts, mince pies then a quiche!

Maths failure this morning! Had £20 to pay in and thought the 3% charge would be £6. I have no idea why.

    So I think I’ve paid in £25.22.
